During this time, many countries were dealing with Holocaust survivors while others were dealing with the punishment of the Nazi and German perpetrators. The Allied troops were so disgusted at what they found at the concentration camps that they forced German officials to bury

This made me think of modern day conflict such as ISIS. After the war that we've been fighting for 10+ years, I wonder if all ISIS members will be prosecuted for their actions. I was disgusted to find out that after all the cruelty and mass murder done to Jews, only a select handful of Nazis were sent to trial and prisoned for life. This means that there are still people that are alive today that have remained silent for their actions, while serving for the Nazi empire. When I put that into perspective, it was shocking and disturbing.
